01 — About the project
Brief
Dispatch, scheduling and field technicians were coordinated by phone and spreadsheet, with no single system tracking a job from intake to close — and no way to know a job had gone unacknowledged until a customer called back asking where their technician was.
What we built
We built a role-based FSM platform from the ground up: a web dispatch console for office staff with multi-technician assignment, a native Android app giving technicians their job list and background GPS tracking, and an automated notification layer — email, SMS and push — that keeps clients and field managers informed at every status change without anyone having to remember to make the call.
Where it stands
Live and running real jobs, estimates and technician assignments across eleven shipped build phases, with automatic escalation flagging any job left unacknowledged 30 minutes after it's scheduled.
